Prepare your GoodBuy monthly sales report
Start with your accounting export, identify possible member customers, and review the underlying transactions before completing your report. This guide covers preparation; the official reporting process remains separate.

Start with the official reporting destination
ESC Region 2 publishes a Vendor Reports page that links to its awarded-vendor reporting form. Use that official page to reach the current form. GoodBuy Sales Finder is a preparation tool: its reviewed Excel report is not an official submission, and exporting does not send anything to GoodBuy.
Prepare a useful Excel or CSV file
Export the period you intend to review from your accounting system. Keep an untouched original. Include customer name, invoice number, invoice date and amount. Street address, city, state and ZIP help distinguish organizations with similar names. Include a purchase-order reference when available. These are useful inputs for this software, not a statement of mandatory GoodBuy report fields.
Use one clear header row and consistent amount/date formats. Avoid combining customer totals and individual invoice rows in the same working file, which can double-count sales. Decide whether your export contains invoices or invoice lines and check the source totals before importing.
Review matches rather than treating names as decisions
Upload your monthly sales export and confirm the detected columns. The app includes a dated 594-member directory snapshot, so a separate directory upload is not part of the normal first-use flow. Likely member match, Possible member match and Needs review describe evidence, not reporting eligibility.
Open each relevant result and compare the original customer location with the suggested directory member. A familiar abbreviation may identify a candidate, but a similar name in another city needs further review. You can approve, reject or leave a transaction for review; the final reporting decision remains yours.
Export a reviewed working report
Check validation warnings before downloading XLSX or CSV. The workbook separates approved transactions, summary information and review/audit details. Reconcile approved amounts to your source export and keep the original file alongside your working report. Transfer only the information required by the current official process after your own review.
Common questions
Is this a GoodBuy sales report Excel template?
It produces a reviewed Excel workbook from your sales file. It does not claim to reproduce the official form or all contract-specific fields.
Can I submit directly from the app?
No. Export creates local files. Use the official reporting destination separately.
Review your sales locally, for free
Free during early access — no account required. No AI prompts needed. Upload CSV or XLSX, review possible member matches, and export your reviewed report.
Processing happens in your browser. Sales data stays on your device; the app does not upload it or send it to an AI service. You make the final reporting decisions.
